Planning a wedding here usually means juggling a WhatsApp group, a spreadsheet for RSVPs, and a handful of overseas platforms that were never really built with South Africa in mind — wrong currency, wrong phone format, and no real way for guests to hear updates the way they actually communicate.

We built BloomWed to fix that: a wedding website that speaks ZAR, sends updates over WhatsApp instead of email, and charges a simple once-off price instead of a monthly subscription. And on the other side, a marketplace where local photographers, venues, planners, and florists can be found by the couples actually planning weddings near them.

We're still early, and building this in the open — if something's missing or doesn't work the way you'd expect, we'd genuinely like to hear about it.
